Sharko Scoreboard Rules

Last Updated: 12/30/2005 09:14:55 AM

These rules are subject to change at any time. If you do not agree to these rules, please do not upload your scores. Please review our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for more information because any violations will result in loss of scoring update privileges. Uploading a score indicates your acceptance of these rules.

  1. Use of the Sharko scoreboard is a privilege and not a guaranted right or feature of the game.
  2. Any unauthorized use of this scoreboard will lead to permanant banning from the SleazySoft website.
  3. Infractions that will normally lead to banning include:
    1. Modifying the logic, internal memory structures, architecture, flow, data files, executable files, and/or algorithms of the game to artificially adjust your score. We're not unrealistic about the hackability of the game, nothing is 100%. If you hack it, all we ask is that you tell us how you did it so we can apply a patch.
    2. Deliberate exploitation of a bug, glitch, or malfunctioning game mechanic to artificially adjust your score.
    3. Attempting to remove or bypass any safety measures designed to prevent exploitation or artificial adjustment of your score.
    4. Flooding the board with many similar versions of the same name.
    5. Submitting the same score information more than once may trigger automatic banning.
    6. Intentionally submitting scores to corrupt the RSS feed, the generated graphs, any statistics, or the scoreboard itself.
    7. Denial of service attacks.
    8. Use of offensive, derogatory, racist, sexist, religious or otherwise inflammatory names will be subject to IMMEDIATE banning.
    9. Banned users will appear on a public list along with their IP address.
  4. Multiple names from the same person are subject to mergers to consolidate scoring and to give everyone a fair chance at the top 10.
  5. We understand that sometimes mistakes can happen in the banning process, please let us know.
