SlzNotes is a simple writing interface much like notepad. The major difference is that it saves files using blowfish encryption. Using passwords with lengths up to 56 characters, you can achieve 448-bit encryption. SlzNotes is designed to be very lightweight and for use in saving notes and passwords only. Please note that the large file size is mainly for the windows installer and runtime libraries. SlzNotes itself is only 64kb.

This is the main program window. File access is very similar if not identical to notepad. The main difference is that when you attempt to open a file you are greeted with the following picture.
Image2
This is the window you will see when you request to open a file. Wether you enter a wrong password or not, SlzNotes will attempt to decrypt the file using the password you entered. If you enter an incorrect password you will get garbage returned to you.

When you choose to save your notes, you will first see this asking you to create a password to encrypt the file. You will then choose the filename with the common dialog and your file will then be saved encrypted. If you have your file types associated you can either double click them in the explorer or open them manually by running SlzNotes again.
